Get out of my head I'm better off being unleaded. Sometime You've got no place to go. Bad advice best left unsaid, don't want to wait until I'm dead. Sometimes it comes down to who you know.

There's no earning or losing until you've tried. It's not so sink or swim, more like fight or die.

Why is it only under the bright lights I feel free- in the night time in the city I believe. And the only things I ever really need to know are who I am, who I was, and where I wanna go.

A little further down the road you probably won't do what you're told. There's no knowing what could be best for you.

And even though I try to realize- what it really means to be alive- it won't stop me from trying to see.

I'm a diesel drinkin sunnuvabitch I got a heart that just won't quit. I get my breakfast down at Woodrow's Cart cause it's a damn fine place to start.

And it's a damn shame isn't it though these cold, gray streets we know. We can watch the cops pull over hipsters as we go trippin half-passed stoned.

So much of the day is wasted in that gray spaces between want and action. Between the first step and losin traction what passes us by in the moments we looks away.
